Who should apply?
Aimed at Indigenous business people managing programs and projects in councils, economic development corporations or their own business, the Aboriginal Management Program (AMP) builds leadership and provides training in management skills through a hands-on approach that involves developing a business model. This program focuses on students who wish to excel at their work and reach the next level.
AMP selects bright, talented, and enthusiastic First Nation (status & non-status), Métis and Inuit students who are committed to a high level of achievement.
Our goal as we developed the program was to create the best Aboriginal business education program ever offered. It would have the most useful content, the best instructors and speakers, and the best Aboriginal leadership and coaching. We can now say with confidence that the ‘best ever’ goal is being met.
