Bio
Ms. Chande sits on the boards of Air Canada, Algonquin Power and Utilities, Fortune Brands, and Thumbtack. She brings expertise in digital and consumer business drawing from a range of Executive roles. Most recently, she was the Chief Commercial Officer for Waymo, Google’s self-driving car project. Prior to that, she was a Managing Director at Alibaba Group and held divisional Managing Director and CEO roles at global retailers, including Tesco, Staples, and Wal-Mart, in both Europe and the United States. She started her career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company. Ms. Chande is an active volunteer with the Girl Guides. She recently relocated to Vancouver with her family,and enjoys travel and the outdoors (even in the rain).
