The Dhillon Centre for Business Ethics at UBC Sauder is pleased to host “Tackling Diversity Through Sustainable Investing”. This event is part of UBC Sauder’s “Working in Sustainability” series and will be held on Tuesday February 6th, 2024, with Hasina Razafimahefa.

This session will explore how investors are integrating considerations of equity, diversity and inclusion in their sustainable investing strategies including portfolio construction and engagement. 

This event is an opportunity to understand the pivotal role of finance in addressing diversity and promoting a sustainable future.

Speaker

Hasina Razafimahefa is a Senior Manager of ESG Evaluations and Proxy Voting at NEI Investments. With NEI since 2015, she currently leads NEI’s evaluations program. She has been researching and engaging with companies especially in the financials sector on various sustainability issues, including corporate governance, climate change and equitable compensation. Hasina has an Undergraduate degree in Accounting from INSCAE Madagascar, a Post‐Graduate Diploma in Finance from UQTR, and a Masters in Sustainability Science from the University of Tokyo.

The session will be moderated by Christie Stephenson, the Executive Director of the Peter P. Dhillon Centre for Business Ethics at UBC Sauder.
